Process

We utilize existing site plans, floor plans and elevation CAD drawings in developing an illustration’s perspectives. Hard copy drafts and design schemes are also acceptable. This data allows us to produce the preliminary wire-frame sketches or models that establish viewpoint location. Upon client approval of viewpoint, a final preliminary sketch is created establishing entourage, sun direction and building colors. These are then faxed or e-mailed for final review and serve as the visual foundation of the final art.

Watercolors are produced on 90# or 140# cotton rag and mounted on Gator board. Typically, watercolor renderings are scanned and further enhanced with image editing software.

All final art is printed using the highest quality archival inks on smooth or textured fine art paper, ensuring unsurpassed color fidelity, clarity and print permanence. Images can then be mounted or framed for presentation.

Alternate print papers and finishing techniques are also available, including additional mounting options, lamination and edge treatments.
